IBG joins InfraSweden2030
Independent Business Group (IBG) has become approved as a member of the InfraSweden2030 programme. The programme has three main objectives, i.e. to 1) develop innovation for transport infrastructure, 2) create an open, dynamic and attractive environment and 3) to reduce impacts on the environment and climate.
All the these objectives and values is something that IBG shares. Vinnova, the Swedish energy agency and the Swedish research council Formas jointly finance a total of 17 strategic innovation programmes, of which InfraSweden2030 is one. Cooperation in areas of strategic importance to Sweden both creates the preconditions for finding sustainable solutions to global social challenges and increases Sweden’s competitiveness in the international arena. Businesses, academia and organisations join forces under the umbrella of programmes such as InfraSweden2030 to develop the sustainable products and services of the future.
- The membership in InfraSweden2030 is proof that IBG takes sustainability seriously and we are pleased to have become a member, says IBG CEO Jesper Low.
We hope to build new partnerships and participation in innovation initiatives through this membership. Furthermore, we hope to contribute with our international expertise in sustainable aviation and Urban Air Mobility, says Jesper. Low
