Webinar: Collaborative Decision Making- Challenges for ATSEP
Together with Edward Fullerton from Entry Point North, Caroline Schmeits – Chief Operating Officer Independent consulting at Independent Business Group (IBG) is going to have an A-CDM expert session via webinar.
The 21st of October 10:00- 11:30 AM CET
The webinar will focus on explaining the ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) to Air traffic safety electronics personnel (ATSEP), and the increased complexity of system established to deal with new challenges.
Caroline will be talking about how A-CDM is improving the industry from an ATSEP perspective.
An ATSEP engineer is an electronic engineer involved with the creation and support of the ground-based electronic hardware and software system used to support Air Navigation and Air Traffic Management. A-CDM is a set of changed operational procedures, supported by IT-systems. Caroline will also explain how the operational procedures to enhance efficiency at an airport should be designed in parallel with system development.
Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM)
Most airport-related operational improvement initiatives are oriented towards improving performance of an individual partner at an airport. Airport CDM is about partners working together and making decisions based on more accurate data and information. ensuring all data has the exact same meaning for every partner involved. More efficient use of resources, and improved event predictability and punctuality are the target results. Put simply “It ensures that the right partners get the right information at the right time”.
