A-CDM courseware to MAvA
Independent Consulting has been tasked to deliver courseware for a two week Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) course to the Malaysian Aviation Academy (MAvA) located outside Kuala Lumpur.
Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) aims to ensure that airport operators, airlines, ground handlers and ATC are sharing information and working together to improve their decision making. This leads to reduced delays, enhanced efficiency and saved costs.
This courseware is produced by the former CDM team in EUROCONTROL that developed the A-CDM milestone approach. The course is designed to suit airport operators, ground handlers, airline staff, safety units and Air Navigation Service Providers on a management and operational level.
– MAvA’s decision proves that Malaysia is striving towards implementing CDM and becoming a leading nation in Asia in this domain. We are proud to deliver the courseware and this decision by MAvA is a confirmation of the recognition from our past CDM related project achievements, says director Kim Silander.
